Meet the Team


Martina Diekmann, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer

Martina Diekmann has been CEO, President, and Member of the Board of Directors of vivitide since February 2020. Prior to joining vivitide, Martina held positions with increasing responsibility at Bachem AG and Solvias AG, where she gained extensive global experience in business development, sales, and marketing in the life science industry. Martina has a solid background in life sciences, starting with her chemistry studies at the University of Bonn, Germany.  Martina then completed her PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry - researching structure activity relationships of adenosine receptors. Following her postdoctoral fellowship at her alma mater, and at the Kakatiya University in Warangal, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and GVK Bio, both in Hyderabad, India, Martina worked as a certified project manager (PMP).  
As a manager, Martina has a track record of overachieving set targets and creating shareholder value. Building a corporate culture that strives for growth has been key to her success. Martina is an inspiring leader - passionate about leading teams to achieve great results. Her motivation has always been supporting the development of new therapies in the biotech and pharma industries.

David Gavlik, MBA
Chief Financial Officer

David Gavlik is CFO at vivitide since January 2020 - responsible for corporate finance, purchasing, IT, HR and facilities. David has over 25 years of broad financial and operational experience gained in private equity and manufacturing environments. Before joining vivitide, David was VP of Finance at Comark LLC, a private equity owned manufacturer of ruggedized computers and supplies. During this period, the company acquired, integrated, and consolidated several add-on companies. David was heavily involved in all financial aspects (pre- and post-merger) of the acquisitions, as well as leading integrations and consolidations of businesses and ERP system implementations. Prior to that, David was VP of Finance at Lista International, a PE owned manufacturer of cabinet and storage solutions.  He was part of the management team that sold the company to Stanley Black and Decker. David was a key financial management member during the post-merger integration, working on ERP implementations into the acquiring businesses at Stanley Black and Decker. David holds an MBA from Nichols College, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Massachusetts, and a Post – Baccalaureate Certificate in Accountancy from Bentley College.   


Neil Dankievitch, MBA, PMP
Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Neil Dankievitch oversees vivitide’s operations and quality management. Neil has more than 20 years’ experience in the biotechnology industry, including cell culture, purification, microbial fermentation, live virus, and disposable technologies. Neil is an experienced leader, focused on continuous improvement projects and increasing efficiencies in operations - driving profitable revenue growth.

Prior to joining vivitide, Neil was the Director of Manufacturing Operations at Emergent BioSolutions (formerly Sanofi Pasteur) - overseeing and managing manufacturing, technical sciences, and validation. He was responsible for CGMP compliance, internal and external audits, project deliverables, as well as adherence to the operating plan, and budget for a multi-product facility.

Neil was also a Manufacturing Operations Manager at Bristol Myers Squibb where he managed two shift operations. One of his greatest achievements was overseeing the construction, testing, and installation qualification of a first of its kind paperless, large scale cell culture manufacturing facility.

Neil served in the United States Marine Corps and as a
Platoon Sergeant in combat operations for Operation Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom.

Neil holds an MBA concentrating in project management and is a certified PMP.



Ehab Alramahy photo

Ehab Alramahy, MS
VP, Global Marketing & Sales

Ehab Alramahy joined vivitide in December 2020 as VP, Global Marketing and Sales, overseeing sales, business development, product management, marketing, and customer service. With a comprehensive background in business, Ehab has over 18 years’ experience in the life science industry, particularly in contract manufacturing.

Prior to joining vivitide, Ehab held various global leadership positions at Bachem AG, Switzerland, and Bachem Americas Inc., United States, where he was appointed as a member of the Executive Committee. Ehab focused on building a strong supplier network in Europe, Asia and the United States. He also added value to several critical initiatives during a high growth period, such as implementation of a new ERP system (SAP), integration of the supply chain of acquired American Peptide Company, and implementation of Sales and Operations Planning.

Ehab has a proven track record in building sustainable partnerships and high-performance teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. He makes an impact by inspiring, results-oriented leadership, and by leveraging his strong network in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.

Ehab earned his MS in Operations & Supply Chain Management and values the experience gained at Harvard Business School’s General Management Program.
