Description: FGF4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 182 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 19.8kDa. The FGF4 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Protein Derived From: Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Stability: Lyophilized FGF4 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution FGF-4 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF receptors is ≤0.5ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of ≥ 2,000,000units/mg.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FGF4 Human Recombinant sterile 18MOmegacm H2O not less than 100microg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Special Note(s): ProSpecs products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
